I use plastic buckets and was looking for a way to put a pour spout threw the plastic lid . Any ideas

Thanks but I was hoping for something on the cheap. 30 buckets add up fast.

You can buy lids that have "Reike Flexspouts" built right into them. They have caps that screw right on to the spout. Google it and the first couple links that come up show pictures. They work real nice.

I am sure there is a way to jerry-rig something up though if you are as cheap as I am. Luckily I got a few freebies from work so I did not have to get creative - on this one.

Edit: saw that you were looking to do it on the cheap after I posted this. Disregard the Reike if you are looking for cheap.

then pour it out the hole that your tap enters the bucket

are you hanging the bucket on the tap? Or running tubing down to the bucket on the ground? Either way you could put a larger hole (1"-1 1/4") near the top of the bucket and pour thru that. Good luck!

I drill a hole just below the lip. Size it to your tube so it is tight. I use the cheap lids so they pop off easy for pouring but stay on during carrying buckets too.

Thanks for the help but the large hole allowed a lot of rain water in due to the lip on the cover. Maybe a hole in the top of the bucket under the rim is the answer.
