Does anyone know of an inexpensive way to ship maple syrup? I've used UPS before and it costs more in shipping charges than the syrup is valued at.

Thanks maplemaker, that sounds like a great deal. I'll definitely give them a try.

I also use the flat rate box, works well. My advice is to get insurance and add that to the shipping cost. I've had syrup disappear with the post office.

That is why I never put anything on the box that would give away the fact there is maple syrup in side. Have had problems in the past also!! But it was at the assisted liveing complex were the person was liveing that I shipped it to. House keeper said only one box arrived, guess she forgot that UPS scaned both boxes in at the same time. Busted  No syrup, no job. Maplemaker
