Russ, here goes, I'll try to explain it clearly.
top of the trap 1.5" pvc passing through a 1.5-3" pvc adaptor( I had to ream out the stop inside the 1.5-3" adaptor for the 1.5" pipe to pass through.)
1.5-2'' adaptor on the bottom of the 1.5" pipe.
2" pvc with 5/8" holes drilled down the pipe(4 around 8 down)
rubber ball inside of 2" holey pipe( ball will slide up and down 2" pipe, but will not fit through 1.5" and plugs the air intake at the 1.5-2" adaptor.)
2" cap at the bottom of 2" pipe so ball stays in.
THAT'S THE INSIDE PART.
OUTSIDE PART FROM 1" TO 3" ADAPTOR.
short piece 3" pipe
3" T ( side goes to releaser)
GOING TO BOTTOM OF TRAP.
3" pipe to cover up inside part.
3"T
3" pipe(short piece)
3"- 1.5" adaptor worked down to a 1/2 ball valve for drain.
FROM SIDE GOING TO RELEASER.
3" pipe(short piece)
3"T
3" PIPE
3" ELBOW
3" pipe(short piece) GOING INTO 3" T AT BOTTOM OF TRAP.
The trap looks like a big "O". The important part is to have solid pipe(1.5"on top)extending below the T going to the releaser. I tryed it out with my shop vac and it worked well. Van
