gasoline vs propane fuel useage

Recently there was some discussion on converting a gasoline powered vacuum pump over to propane.
I have located a kit for my 5.5 HP Honda for $167.00
Does anyone have any experience or advice with this?
Also wondering how the fuel usage compass to gasoline and run time ?

I have no real experience with propane but I've picked up quite a bit on youtube. I'm going to be doing it myself. I've been told that there is about a 10% drop in power. I'd be interested in knowing where you found your conversion kit. Its not hard to convert most carbs over without one. (Theres several youtube videos on how to do it)Thats what I'm planning on doing. I've made arrangements to have a tank dropped off at my bush. It'll be nice not to have to haul fuel every day. Pipeline is the guy who has the real experience with running propane. He says its 1/2 the cost of gas.
