I bought a 20 plastic Gallon Drum for storing my finished syrup, would it be alright to store the syrup for a few days even though i wont be able to fill it each draw off ? I only have time to boil about 2-3 times during the week.

I think you would be better off to have 20 gallons stored up and then when you get time reheat all the syrup and fill the drum. The hot and cold cycling wouldn't let the drum seal.

I agree with Jeff. If your intent is to store your syrup long term this way then smaller containers such as very clean 3-5 gallon food grade pails that can be completely filled at recommended bottling temps in one shot might be the better way to go. You won't get any kind of acceptable seal filling containers over several days time and are increasing the potential for spoilage each time an improperly sealed partially filled container is opened. I would consider this the same as an opened bottle of syrup and would want to keep it refrigerated or frozen until use. If it's just for short term storage until you can reheat and bottle then you might get by for a few days in the larger container if the syrup can be kept very cold. I'd definitely want to reheat and rebottle as soon as possible.

If you do part fill it be sure to leave cap loose or it will colapse as the syrup cools, been there done that. I often end up with a barrel half full and then top it off in a day or two and never realy had trouble. Make sure to fill as full as possible to prevent having much airspace that helps.
You want to take a ride up to see that guy we buy drums from?
