cleaning the exterior

Any ideas on how to keep the outside of the evaporator, (pans included) clean and polished? I have an all stainless unit and would like to keep it looking good. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

I use a soft cotton shop towl with just plain water to wipe the pans down wile its still hot. Just a damp towl and use gloves it will make steem, same with the arch ss. All iron gets high temp paint after the seasons over

mineral spirits and pledge. obviously not near sap but will make almost any ss shine. put it on a rag and buff, spirits clean pledge makes it shine.
I've never done it on an evaporator but it works good on my truck body and accessories

Good clean warm water and a little dish detergent works well and is much safer around food than mineral spirits and pledge. If you don't want water spots, wipe it down dry with a towel.
