Anyone have experience with these for pumping sap long distances uphill? Good...bad etc?

I have a honda wx15 pump and use it for transferring sap from collection tank to sugar house tank. Great little pump. It will probably be fine for a couple hundred feet with no more then 20-30 foot climb. It really does not have enough head pressure to go beyond that. I tried flushing a main line with it and it stopped pumping at about 800 ft with a 20 foot climb. Otherwise, it is a great transfer pump!

Can't help you on long distances uphill but as for the pump it is a good pump. I used to use a tanaka 2cycle pump that was also 1 1/2" and it sucked down a ton more gas than the 4 stroke Honda does
