I have a 2.5x10' woodfired arch that I'm using for the first time this year. After I bought it I aquired another substantial bush that will eventually bring me over 5000 taps. I'm wondering, if from experience, some of you could tell me how many taps you handle with a similar size unit and how long your boiling times are. I have a preheater and a 3 post 4" RO as well. Next year I'll probably be at 2500 to 3000 taps. Can I handle that many with this set up? Whats the max? Thanks.
Last year I boiled over 500 taps on a raised flue of the same size. I would not go any higher than that without an ro. I see you have a three post 4". I have the same size ro new for this year it's a 375gph unit. I would not hesitate to do 1500 taps with this setup and probably 2000+ would be manageable.

Heus, Do you remember how much wood you went through?
About 10 cords. Averaged about 25 gal/cord.
