Sap Ladder question

I have a wet and dry line system. I have some trees that are much lower I would like to connect to the main line (but not at the end of it). To make a sap ladder which lines do I connect?

treat it like a mainline. direct to wet and bullwhip it into dry

You only need line to the ladder system but do as thad said at the junction with the mains. Be sure to install a leaker at the last tap of the ladder system and tee in a spot to check the vacuum at the leaker. When the leaker is adjusted right you will have the highest vac level reading. Then you can cap the tee and put the gauge in your pocket.
