I started tapping today. Small scale, 40 taps. It is running. Last year, I tapped during the January and Feb. thaws and did well Grade A syrup which we like better than Grade B. I closed up shop on Feb 20th and went south.

Looks like it could be a good week - we're going to wait it out a bit more but I'm curious to hear what sugar content you see this early. If we were a bit more ready to go, I'm sure I'd be tapping a few :-)
