GOT THE REST OF MY SUGAR SHED DONE THIS PAST WEEKEND. NEXT QUESTION IS, WHY CAN'T I RUN A CLEAR PLASTIC LINE FROM THE FEED-STORAGE TANK TO THE FLOAT BOX ON MY EVAPORATOR? WILL IT GET TOO HOT? SUGGESTIONS???

It won't get hot at all as the sap keeps it cool as long as it is not a few inches from the arch. :?

Just make sure its the heavier type and with a few inches from the heat it will work fine. also you can put a tee in the line and run a clear pipe vertical to the height of your holding tank and be able to see the level in the tank at a glance.
