So I have made a nice custom label to go on my glass bottles that we sell. Traditionally I have gotten the ones from bascoms and havn't complained to much, knowing that they are gouging the price. I've got a big order coming up and was thinking it might be cheaper online. So I was looking around and found that a dealer out in MI is selling the same thing for half the price, 3.50/50 ties vs 6.25/50 ties. I know there is a spot somewhere on this great big internet world that i can buy 7/8" gold elastic ties, but cannot find them. Anyone else using these types of gold ties with a bow, and if so are you helping brucy boy fill his pockets or are you saving a few pennies?

Have you looked in a fabric shop? You can make your own using a gold fancy covered elastic.

Joeann fabrics and hobby lobby have them usually. We get ours from hobby lobby here in mi its like 99 cents for a 25 foot roll of cord but for that price i can cut and tie the bow!!! Plus you have the option of changing it up as well as sizing differently for different size bottles. Check your local hobby or fabric storesalso check any store suppling scrapbookers lots of other ideas there for the motivated person...

I like the prices of the long loops or spools of gold twine, but then you have to tie it on. Been there done that, does not save that much if it takes you forever to tie 300 bowties around 50 ml maple leafs. and let me tell ya i am not consistant at all! still searching for the premade ones with better pricing
