new evaporator

It's finally here. It's a two by six Patrick Phanuf with hoods with a built in preheater. Questions will soon follow. Just remember I have never seen a real evaporator so be nice. Also I think I'll ask some of the questions on another group so all of you won't go crazy.

Hey! Congratulations. Should be fun. I have never saw the real McCoy either - other then in pictures. Saw one years ago - before I knew anything about making maple, but - I had no idea what I was looking at. The few Folks I know that make maple syrup all have home-made rigs.
