Does anybody have any input on drop tubes going down on one side then pipe going the length of the pan and the back up at the other end? Is it the same as drop flues basically? I would tend to think it would be. Thanks, kacey

Bill Mason has made drop tube pans. There are several on the trader that run them. I checked out Wiam's the other week. Kind of similar to what you might be implying but the heat is what goes through the tubes and the sap is around the tubes. If you haven't seen the drop tube maybe someone can post or send you a pic. I know Wiam has excellent results with his.
