I actually have had this penny stock for years Sionix was suppose to be a big mover and shaker a few years ago well it went down and down and down so I still have it.

Anyhow, it just popped up in the news that they made a Dissolved Air Flotation Unit for Crown Maple last year and they are making a new improved unit this year. As the article reads Crown reports that they saw production, quality and operating benefits from the DAF and UV units. Our sap quality was improved by the removal of natural contaminants and bacteria. Apparently they are using the DAFU along with UV treatment and Reverse Osmosis. Crown now believes that their syrup is even more pure than before.

....and to think all these years I've been skimming out the bugs and sticks by hand, I could have been using DAF to do all that for me.

Dissolved air flotation has been around for 50+ years used primarily in industrial waste water treating applications.

I read the link. My rage factor was starting to rise about half way through the article. Maybe I'll just have to try their "most pure, best" maple syrup sometime, and see what we're all missing! That's all I'll say. Don't need to get that rant going again, lol.
