walnut

Anyone have any experience burning walnut? Started cutting some up by the creek that were pushed over by a flood. I know the btus are high, just wondering about ceasote, smell, etc..

I've burned some walnut,both in my wood stove in the house, and a little in the evaporator. I never noticed any ill effects in either. It seemed to be real good fuel all the way around. :D
