Great job. I'll be real interested in how the CoolBot performs. I've planned a cellar for storage when I add an addition next year (?). If that doesn't stay cool enough I've been looking at the CoolBot web site. I have several sheets of 2.75" rigid foam insulation that I'll be using. I'll try for more so I can run 2 layers. The CoolBot looks like a great tool for this type of storage facility. Let us know what temp. you set it at and how well it holds that temp.

We use a cool bot to keep our syrup cool. We set it at 45 degrees F. The room is 10'X10' it is an underground room (root cellar) that without the cool bot warms into the 70s during the summer. It works really well. We open a barrel of syrup and don't worry about leaving it un sealed for a few weeks or even months. We also use it for cut flowers and overflow food storage when we have lots of visitors. Definitely worth the cost.

Thanks Tim, It's good to hear about someone using and liking a CoolBot. My storage cellar will be 10 x 14 x 8' high, before adding insulation. I have enough now to do 1 layer of 2.75" hick, plan to get another layer for better efficiency. Under the floor will only be 2" foam, but being underground the surrounding temp is only about 52-55 degrees.

I'd go a minimum 4" on the floor. You won't regret it.

OK, I'd just thought that the year round temp of 52-55 around here (at cellar floor depth underground) would not need that much. Thanks!
