A Surge BB-2 for $50 is probably a good price. There are a few guys on here that have them or know about them. There was an add for parts for surge pumps maybe if you find it and contact the person they might be able to tell you more about the BB-2.

I started with a Surge Sp-11 (5 cfm) which I believe is a little new than the BB-2. I got mine for free and it worked like a champ day after day pulls 22" and can handle 500 taps easy.

The bb2 is a good unit...as long as it is spinning freely. I have a bb1 and a bb4. The bb1 handle 300 at 22" Then went to a rotary vane part way thru the season and went to 27-28". the unit will go quick at the buy it now price...I saw one go a few months ago for twice that.

My dad was a surge dealer. These were very dependable pumps for dairy. The bb1 has been running our woods since about 1974. Ran ladders and tubing for around 500 at its max. All others ran on gravity.
How many taps are you looking to run
