So as suspected, the numbers dont really show much more than a normal year. .308 yeild/tap. What about any numbers from Canada?

Somehow I find it hard to believe that Vermont sold 80% of the crop for 2011 & 2012, but that's what the statistics show?!

Given this is the USDA NASS report, Canadian producers don't report to them. In their more detailed report that comes later, the USDA NASS Maple Report does show the Canadian statistics, but they are usually about a year behind.

Somehow I find it hard to believe that Vermont sold 80% of the crop for 2011 & 2012, but that's what the statistics show?!

80% bulk, 15% retail, 5% wholesale is what it says (for VT percent of sales in 2011 and 2012). Those add up to 100%.
