Kosher Defoamer

Does anyone have experience with the kosher defoamer from Bascom's? It's sold as a powder. Do you sprinkle it in as a powder or can you mix it with water to put drops in?

The only dry defoamer I have used was just sprinkled in

How well did it work compared to the liquid? Did you put a pinch in at a time or use a shaker?

I only used it at Eastern States when making cream/candy. It worked. Probably as well as Atmos.
We just sprinkled in with a spoon

Take a salt shaker and drill holes out bigger and you are good to go
