Got all my buckets washed over the weekend. Was actually getting into a bit of a routine and it wasn't so bad.
Setup
1 large rubbermaid bin with a warm soapy water solution with 1/4 cup bleach added. About 3" deep.
1 large round tote, full to the top with clear water with the hose running in a trickle
Cordless drill with bucket brush (low speed!!!!)
Neoprene gloves
Rubber boots.
Stacked all my dirties behind me in stacks of 20.
Grab one and drop into the bin, roll once and lift with 1" soap solution in it.
Hit with the bucket brush for 10-15 seconds, dump and inspect. Repeat if needed.
Dip in round tote and roll to rinse.
Place on the grass.
Every 10 buckets or so I'd pick up the clean ones and lay them out on the lawn in the sun to dry then start another batch.
150 buckets took about 2 hours - I wasn't rushing things but I wasn't dawdling either.
The neoprene gloves are great for grip and keeping fingers warm. I was wet when done but not frozen.
