Here is a short video my son did of our evaporator running on one of the last days of boiling. Sap is coming in around 250 + gallons/hour, no preheater, hoods or anything. Boils look pretty brown, nitre coming back off the pans with late season boils.

Looks good Bruce! You must have the blowers mounted somewhere outside because I can't say I've ever heard the sap/syrup bubbling on our Force 5!

Thanks Don and Marty, the high speed blower is outside, but the variable speed blower for under the grates is right beside where we can the syrup, At the end of the video where the syrup is coming off you can hear the tractor roaring on the generator outside the door. Looking to get a bigger portable generator for next year to cut down on the noise outside so I can hear the pans all of the time and not just when I go up beside them. Bruce from Leader stopped by tonight after he had been in the area quoting on some equipment, stayed and had supper, thanked me for the possible use of the video as they have not gotten one from the field before of the Vortex in action.

Brad, mentioned that to Bruce yesterday, said they couldn't go higher because of how the sheet stock worked out.Told me they could make extensions to go up the sides though..I overhear people talking at the open house wondering why the sides are so high, that's when I pipe in and say that they are not high enough!
