Does anyone know when Leader moved out of Burlington? My arch says it was made in Burlington and I was wondering how old it might be. Thanks

Mine also says Burlington, I bought new doors for mine this year, and they said that they moved in the late 20's to Swanton, But used that cast into the 30's in Swanton. I thought mine was from the late 1800's but they said it would be more like the late 20's or early 30's.

Interesting. I wonder if they could tell me based on the size of my pans and arch when it was made. Mine is a 4' front (4*12 overall) with a 5 ' syrup pan and a 7 ' back pan. I was guessing it was made in the 50's, but 20's....huh... No wonder things are coming apart!! My pans were made in '83. I am due for a major upgrade. Thanks for the info...

Leader was in St. Albans til a few years ago. Or did they move to Swanton way back, then to St. Albans, and now back to Swanton?

I beleive it went from Enosburg to Burlington to St Albans ( in the 50's) and to Swanton (5 or 6 Years ago). My dad remembers going to Burlington to pick stuff up when my grandfather had the farm. he sold it in the early 60's.
