We made 1800 gallons on 4000 taps. Tapped 2-1-13. Last boil 4-7-13. Color lighter than normal. Sap sugar content lower than average. Long season with weather cold. Most runs we ever had with the temps under 35 degrees.

Boiled 14 times and made 26 gallons over here on 129 sap sacs, best year ever, but still can't seem to get to 1/4 gal per tap.
Tapped Feb 16 with last boil Sat April 6. Our sap sugar was higher than its ever been with lots at 2.6% some a bit less.
Years past I was lucky to see 1.8%, don't know what caused that but I'll take it...
Color started light, got to med amber then lightened back up and then went back to med amber.
First year with the Siro Press and I like it.

Tapped Jan. 30th. First boil Feb 8th. 2450 taps. 1000 gal syrup. 4.5lbs per tap. Best season ever! Cousin in Indiana made 13 lbs per tap on a new tubing system in a 1200 tap bush:)
