Okay,I like raceing but have never been hooked like I am after haveing a TV in the sugar house. This will be the first race of the season we are not watching from the sugar house! Post if you are also a NASCAR fan!!!

We are done for the year and never had a boil when there was a race this year but over the years we always have the race on when we boil

i have cooked my sap outside for the last few years. missed alot of races because of it. next season, i will have an evaporator inside. i already have the tv, the couch, and the fridge. wont miss any more races because of sugarin.

I'm much more into the Izod Indy Car Series. A friend of mine has a cousin who was the crew chief for the #78 Simona DeSilvestro team, so I kind of got interested that way and usually root for her. You have to be sick in the head to run one of those cars though. lol

Felt bad for Truex, he should of won, but Rowdy's pit crew got him the win on pit road with 20 laps to go.

The largest spectator sport in the U.S. Forty three cars making 800 horsepower each on a circular track with speeds often at or near 200 MPH. Think of the chariot scene from Ben Hur, but running 400 or 500 miles rather then ten laps. Great fun. I'm a Mark Martin fan. He's younger than me but I like him; he's a good kid.

I can see why Nascar and boiling might go hand in hand, lol. Watching sap boil and seeing how fast you can get it to go and watching how fast cars can drive around in circles :). And then there's always the dangers of things getting out of control :o
