sap filter for syrup?

today I bought a sap filter thinking it was a syrup filter. it's an 11'' sap filter from atkinson's. will it work for syrup?

in short....nope.

But you can maybe use it in combo with a few pre-filters and then an orlon filter.

I should ad, without seeing your signature, that it really depends on how much you are producing and for who.
