I had a shut down procedure that was working pretty good then I had to go and try to tweak it! That didn't work out so well!

Now I have some cleaning to do before what will most likely be my last boil of the season. And now about 1+ gallons less.

That is solid burnt! Luckily it cleaned really easy though. Need to have my solder redone but all in all I think I came out of it ok.

Glad to here you were able to bring it back to life. Did you soak in vinegar or what?

Now a good time to practice your soldering skills. Soldering is a good skill to know when your pan is leaking and the tanks are running over. I was able to get my front pan working again with a propane torch and regular plumbing solder & flux.

Once I discovered it I poured 10 gallons of water in, started a small fire and went to bed. When I got up the next morning 90% was free and just floating. I scrubbed the rest down and boiled water for a while. Then emptied and made a nice batch of medium.
