2013 season over

my best year so far. 76 gal. of finished syrup. pulled all my taps last fri. of march because of weather forecast for upcoming week. hope to be back next year.:lol:

I pulled and finished boiling today. Twenty five plus gallons of syrup made on 75 red maple taps. Lots of boiling with a pretty low sugar conc. all year. They ran really well to make up for it. The family farm had a great year as well, still boiling there today and will end up with approx 575 gallon of syrup from 1400+ taps.
