has anyone discussed cordwood. as a viable method? I've been thinking about it. not sure how the high humid. will effect it.

I dont see why not, and with a proper cupoloa/ hood you wouldn't have much humidity increase. It's not a very mainstream building practice in the first place, so it's doubtful that anyone has a sugarhouse built that way.

Use cedar should work out just fine, Stack wall contruction will last a long time.

Stack your cordwood and then burn it. Cordwood walls are like setting out a smorgasboard for mold.

Give it a try and see how it works! Works good for houses so if built correctly why wouldn't work?

Maybe 40 years ago i woulda said give it a try, but nowdays with regulation and fda circling around i think i would go with more conventional building methods as to not raise red flags to them if they were to come inspect you
