I hung out at my grandparents this morning while waiting for my truck to get out of the shop, and while there my grandmother (she's 84 and I'm 42) digs out an old newpaper clipping about her father's family farm. The brothers in the article were my great uncles, and Mr./Mrs. Waite were my great grandparents. I knew they did some sugaring back then (what farm didn't?) but didn't know to what extent. Pretty cool.

That's really cool! Out of everyone in our family that's still around no one has told me any of my ancestor were Sugarers. Neat! Thanks for sharing!

This is such a nice family keepsake! It must have made your day when your Grandmother shared this with you! I'm sure she is very proud that her grandson is carrying on a family tradition! Thanks for sharing this with us!
