Blue sap bags: Anyone know the exact capacity?

We empty ours into 5-gallon buckets and the full ones seem to contain around 4 gallons of sap but I'm curious to see if anyone knows or has measured the capacity.

Some of our gathering buckets are 4.5 gallon pastry buckets. On some bags almost bursting at the seams, we just about fill these buckets maybe to within an inch from the top. So I am going to say 4.3 gallons.

Thanks. Just going by appearance of the full bag poured into a 5-gallon bucket I figured it was over 4 gallons but wasn't sure by how much.
