I have 126 buckets at my sugarhouse that have only had two good runs and ive only gotten 250 gallons of sap off them so far, theys woods are pretty cold and are 1200 feet in elevation do you think the season is over for me or will I just start late and last about the same amount of time as everyone else, your guys help would be very nice as I just scorched my pan and am trying to figure out if i should just clean eveything and stop for the season or wait and see if my buckets run and try to keep making some syrup....I have 150 gallons of sap but it was making grade B if I boiled that down would it make the rest of my syrup be grade B if my sugarhouse trees did decided to open up ,thanks nick

How long ago did you tap? I always figure buckets start drying up after 5-6 weeks.

I tapped Jan 3rd and pulled my taps last week when they started to get yellow. They slowed down but still were running pretty good.
