Would it be possible to put 50 to 75 trees on a gravity line on a hill with no vacuum or would that be a waist of time

If I understand your question right, sure it is a great idea.

I think most people dont have vaccum and use gravity for their tubing.

Tap away and get a big holding tank at the bottom, you could shower in the sap from that many trees, lol !!

Good luck.

Certainly not a waste of time. I have 40-45 on one and the sap never back up to eliminate the natural vacuum.

75 might be pushing it though, but will probably work fine, especially is you have a steep pitch. You could consider running two parallel lines.

We'll I guess I could put 2 or 3 lines down the hill and put 25 taps to a line

should work fine. I have a few lines with up to 30 taps on them and not too much slope. As long as you have enough slope to drain, they'll work. Obviously the more slope the better as far as natural vacuum, but as long as it drains, it'll run.
