By not using a hydrometer on my first small batch (2 pints), I have rather thick syrup (slow pour).
I was wondering if that syrup could be thinned by adding some near syrup, re-finishing and using my new hydrometer?
Or, should I just enjoy it as it is and use the hydrometer on my soon to be finished next batch?
