Hey don,
Looks like some great syrup. My sap started to boil hard at 210.5 too but didn't float the hydro till around 222 df...I'm thinking either my probe on a cable is bad or the battery needs to be changed, I think its the original and probably more then 5 years old...

Looks great, adding up for sure. I too am getting enough to keep me happy and will admit if it stops for a day or two I would be fine with that.

Thanks for sharing.

Looking great. I to get a rolling boil at 210/11 and hydrometer says its syrup at 221. It's funny I argue with my dad every time we finish boil. He wants to pull it off when it reaches 219. I jest tell him nope. He then gets dramatic and tells me if we burn it I'm buying all of it. Going foreword I'm hiding the thermometer:)

Very nice looking syrup. I was thinking about getting syrup bottles for next year, rather than using jars. Where do you get yours? I like how you do your own labels. Is that some kind of kit that comes with the bottles, where you can print out and apply your labels to the bottles?

I order the Bottles and Labels from a local supplier Sugarbush Supplies in Mason, MI. The Maples Guy that sponser this site I think have them too... http://mapleguys.com/index.php?category=15

A supplier in NY would probally have a better seclection of NY Labels and Jugs if you do an internet search...
