CDL 2x6 Float Question?

I have a brand new 2x6 CDL...just wondering what everyone does with there back float...there is a 1.5" threaded entry hole into the float..do I run my feed line into that from my head tank or can I just run a line that will drip right into the float and cap the hole?

In order for the float to work properly you will need to run your feed line from your overhead and thread it into the float box.
