hey all ive been boiling on the turkey fryer for the last couple years worked ok but slow . well someone gave me an old wood stove i was going to put in the shed but came up with a better use for it . took alot of sawzall blades but works great[/ATTACH]7519752075217522

Looks like it works good. Are you filtering your syrup?

yes but all that was available was a pre filter trying to find supplies local but it looks like im going to have to go mail order

I used to use wool felt from a fabric store. It worked very well

Love that stove set-up! Your syrup pan fits the top perfectly and I bet you don't go through as much wood as I do on a block arch!
Nice to see things re-purposed!

yea i made the pan for the stove and its actually pretty good on wood

Looks good man! What do ya get for evaporation GPH on that?
