New guy here, been lurking for a while. Right now we are gravity feeding our collection barrels into a pickup tank. Changing the bush around a little and will need to collect sap via a pump. I've got a brass pump with a rubber impeller from an inboard boat motor. Thinking about running it off the tractors PTO. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Scott

Welcome to the trader, it's a great site. Sound like a good idea, as long as the tractor and the pump are always together when you need them. also, I would want to be sure that it's a food grade pump. We've had a lot of conversations about this topic, and I would direct you to look them up. I have linked to a food grade belt driven pump from northern tools that is quite big, which it sounds like you are looking for. They are only about 100 dollars, and well reviewed. If you click on my member name and look up my posts, you'll find it. If not, let me know if you are interested and I'll link to it. Again, welcome.
