Foaming at the Mouth?

So I was standing there scooping off the foam from boiling… so I tasted it... :o .... and the taste was not all that bad!

So I got to wondering.... if I collected the enough foam from boiling... what could I make out of it?:confused:

Add some bird seed, roll into a ball with a string hanging out, and see if the birds enjoy it? Bear bait? It would be fun to save it and put it on top of an ant hill, then watch the little guys feast!

I've read that the foam can be a sink for heavy metals just like niter. If you use old buckets you might want to keep that in mind. The foam will eventually turn to a muddy liquid. I've tried feeding it to my dogs but they get tired of it after a while.
