Same here as far as the dry spell. Weekend looks good as does the long range, hopefully. But on the flip side its been good weather to haul logs out for firewood.

Pretty much the same here. We'll see if the forecast is right.

I haven't boiled in over a week here in Enfield, NH. Last week, the weather forecast looked great for this week, but instead, it has turned cold. Right now, next week looks good. Hopefully the forecast isn't wrong for the second week in a row!

Nothing running in Danville Vermont either. No concerned about my pipe lines. But buckets (100) are going on 4 weeks this Saturday.

We haven't boiled since last Saturday, and it hasn't run since the Thursday before, so it's been a week since sap flowed here in Skowhegan. Maybe a little sun today and it will start today or tomorrow. We could use some, since it's Maine Maple Weekend, and we are going to have to put on a show.

Been hauling logs out this morning and just checked some of the buckets and pipeline and some are starting to come into it very slowly. Sun is out but have a cold north wind here:cool:

I stopped running when the sap did last week. Glad to hear someone is out moving around and looking hopefully at lines and buckets... I'll need to come out of hibernation for the weekend I think.

Hey Trevor. I laughed out loud when I read your comment, but then I googled Waitsfield and found out it is a real place. I thought you were just joking around about "waiting" for the sap. What a perfect place name for this time of year.

Anyone going to pound spots back in after a week long freeze? My vac hasn't dropped yet, but I figure its due to ice blocks in the lines.

I caught up last weekend and got a little bit more earlier this week (right before the storm) but that's been about it.

I'm getting sap right now. Pumps are on and it is running quite well. However we had sun today. Tomorrow is supposed to have zero sun . So might not get it tomorrow. Who knows.

Dill, absolutely gonna re-pound them in. I usually do that every so often until then end. Whenever I'm below 25" I know I have a problem or the spouts are working their way out. Hopefully we'll get a run by Sunday in Tunbridge, VT. It's gonna take a few days of warmth to melt this new batch of snow from around the trees.
