flue pan concentrate

what percent concentration should I shoot for from the concentrate coming from my flue pan to my syrup pan? I took a sample from my flue pan just after a draw off and let it cool to air temp (about 40f) and I got a little over 10 percent. seems low to me. This has most likely been discussed but my searches couldn't find an answer.

I dont check the actual concentration I just run my rig according to sap levels.

Sounds like you have sweet sap going in or your flue pan is doing good. 8% is the number to look for with 2% going in.
