Burnt sap

It was cold at 6:00 am go time 8 degrees. Pumps froze up bulk tank had 2" ice all around the edge. Took forever to get to a rolling boil we made 3 gallons of the darkest syrup we have ever made but I needed to boil that tank down. Looking toward another two or three weeks if lucky!:cool:
