Just thought I'd share how I collect and filter my sap so others can get some ideas. The storage barrel has a gallon potato salad bucket in the top that a pre filter fits nicely in.

Nice. Is the tank sitting on a 4 wheeler?

Yes. Suzuki Vinson 500. Still not sure how I talked the wife into letting me buy it. It was used though. I can haul about 35 gallons without it getting squirrelly.

7429 I use a cub cadet volunteer 4+4 with a food grade (honey)55gal drum and use a rule 800/hr pump to empty drums and a funnel to dump 5 gal buckets.I store the pump and hose in the other drum to keep it clean between the stops ,It makes it possible for me to collect on the mountain very steep!!
