Nothing has run for a week now here, and next week does not give much hope at this point, along with snow on the way. They say 6-10 inches in this area.:o

It was very slow here in my part of southern NH. Out of 31 taps, I collected about 9 gallons yesterday. Hoping it will pick up a little today.

The end of this week is looking good too -- that is, after the predicted snow. As I read the forecast, I was wondering if the sap will continue to flow if daytime temps are in upper 30's - during a snowstorm? Any thoughts on that one?

It's been tough. Feel like goldilocks - first part of last week was too warm, now it's too cold, I have lost faith in the the long range forecast. Did have some flow yesterday, but had to pitch one bucket because it just tasted off.

Hoping for at least some consistency next week. Fingers crossed.

getting a little sap on the south side of NH. but just too cold. just has been a hit or miss kinda season with a lot more misses then hits. Oh well having fun anyway. More sap would be good but it gives me more time for cleaning and prepping for maple weekend I guess!!!
