It's fine to run the vac when everything is frozen up, but remember to manually trip the releaser as some point so you don't wind up with a 5 gallon ice cube in your releaser:)

That is why I am considering putting a insulated building around my tank which would help with sap temps later in season. Or at least a box enclosing the released.
