When I burn pine I can get a 5' flame to shoot out of my stack and turn the arch doors cherry red with or without the blower running! I need to ad more blowers for next year if I keep my arch. I've already burned holes in welding gloves a few times this year. When I run my flue pan shallow I can get 60gph out of my 30X8 without the blower on or any addons like a preheater or airtight arch. You gotta Want It!

You've got to be careful ! I have a friend that burned his house down . The fire started from an ember blown out of his stack.

Holey Moley!!!! Wow!! Great Picture! The pine You are burning must be about 98% pitch. LOL....You should be making Turpentine instead...Just kidding.
Hey bees1st - That really is a good picture - have never saw anything quite like it. --Hope You have a good Season.

Farmboy - LOL - If you get much hotter - you will have a blast furnace. Hey! melting iron ore or making steel would be a good sideline. Just kidding.
I have been burning some dry ash slab wood - and the fire tends to get away from me - Have a good Sugarin Season.

I get that to. Doesn't bother me much except on those windy days. Man can that wind carry those embers far.
Very cool pic though.

I must give credit to my daughter. She took the picture. But did you notice how the ember trails made hearts ?
