We are experimenting with making maple candies using the lollipop recipe and making small candies using plastic candy molds. When we were at the St. Albens, VT maple festival, we met a Canadian woman at a Maple Pro workshop who had done this. She said she coated the candies with fruit sugar to keep them from sticking to one another. We are wondering if any of you readers know what she meant by fruit sugar? It was gritty and granular and and did a great job keeping the candies from being sticky.
