i have a 300 gallon cage tank that has alot of ice in the bottom and i was wondering if it would be okay to put a little magnetic heater like one you put on the blcok of an engine to start it when its cold....i want to put it on the metal that on the bottom of the tank but the tank is plastic do you think it would be okay thanks nick

Could you get the ice out? Ice dont have any sugar so I would just throw that away if you can reach

im gonna try to break it up and get a one of those grappers with the pole on it and see if i can get it tomorrow but i doubt ill be able to

I hang a light or two in the tank to help stop ice.

Leave the ice! It keeps the sap colder on warm days! And no the magnet heater will either melt the plastic or not transfer enough heat to help hot water if its realy a problem
