My dad and I spent the last couple days in Waterloo, QC at the open house. 600 mile drive each way, but worth the trip, lots of nice stuff and nice to meet other maple minded people from all over. I even met and chatted with mapleguys.com's own, Chris F while I was there. Chris, enjoyed chatting and I really like the hands-free bottler you were demo-ing. I will definately mention those to a few people that might be interested.
I also saw a demo (but not at Lapierre) of a gear-pump style butter machine, and anyone interested in making the best super-fine butter you ever saw should see if they can watch one work somewhere.
