NY syrup

Anyone else starting a little darker than usual? And having more stuff in the filters? more sap than we can keep up with,hence running all night. sure beats last year!
sap is 2.2%. 1st time I have ever tested it

No,we made 205 gallons and the only dark we made was from sap sittng in the evaporator 3 days,190 gallons of real nice light,hoping to do another 50 gal of light today

I had some extra gunk in my filter but it was some of the lightest syrup i have ever made. Light amber with good taste was very proud let the sap keep coming
